Reader & Swartz Architects, P.C. recently won a design award from the Northern Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The Award of Merit in Historic Architecture was for Stoney Meadows, a private residence in Rappahannock County, Virginia.

Our office won a national design award from Remodeling magazine, for the Songbird Lane House in Frederick County. This house won a Merit award in the “green” (sustainable) architecture category. View project page.

Chuck and Beth were also in a DCRealEstate.com article, called “Married to the Job, and Each Other.” Three husband-and-wife architecture teams were interviewed for the article, and shared how they manage work together and yet remain sane. Check it out on the DCMud blog here.
