Loft wins DC AIA award…

Reader & Swartz Architects, P.C. recently won a design award from the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The Merit Award in Historic Resources was for Loft-Upon-Cork, a private residence in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. View project page.

Man bites dog. Inexpensive kitchen featured in magazine!!!!!

Kevin Walker’s recently remodeled kitchen also gained some press, making the cut for Washingtonian Magazine’s Dream Kitchens feature. The kitchen actually came in under budget.
