Reader & Swartz Architects, P.C. recently won a design award from the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The Merit Award in Historic Resources was for Loft-Upon-Cork, a private residence in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. View project page.
Loft-Upon-Cork was also featured in a DCRealEstate.com article, called “The House that Straddled Time.” Learn everything you ever wanted to know about the loft, including hidden libraries and “mechanical lingerie,” here.
If you’re interested in a tour of one of our most recently completed projects, the Songbird Lane house is a scheduled stop on this weekend’s Green Homes Tour of Clarke and Frederick Counties.
